Resolves update

Remember how I resolved to blog every Friday?

Yeah, me neither.

But remember that my #1 resolve was to break into the video game industry?

Yeah, me too, because I FREAKING DID IT.

I am now a User Interface Designer for Electronic Arts. Boo. Yah. I guess when I figure out a direction and really focus on it, I can make it happen. Unfortunately I am having to relocate to a city I never really considered before. It's also initially a contract-to-hire, so my domestic partner Brian won't be able to relocate with me until we know that it's a permanent situation. So, while I'm going to be satisfied in my career, I have to be alone while I do it. That just sucks monkey balls.

But. I'm in, man, I'm in. I can't believe how happy it makes me.
